THE ACADEMIC YEAR AND EXAMINATIONS

The Academic year comprises two terms. The first term commences in the first week of April and ends in the fourth week of September. The second term begins in the third week of October and ends in the third week of March.
Examinations are held at the end of each term. Detailed report cards are sent out to parents after each examination to keep them informed of their child’s performance in different spheres of school life. To ensure that the child is motivated to imbibe instructions on a regular and continuous basis, the two main examinations are interspersed with monthly tests.

 

REGISTRATION PROCEDURE

Registration forms for the subsequent academic year are available with the Headmistress from 15th April to 31st October: - The registration fee is neither refundable nor adjustable and is valid only for the specified academic year. Registration of a child is not a guarantee of his/her admission. Every child has to appear for an entrance examination and interview, which is held in early February. Offers for admission will be given on the basis of the results of these examinations and will depend on the numbers of vacancies in each class.

Classes II to XII	Dark grey shorts for boys of classes II to VI, dark grey trousers for boys of classes VII to XII, dark grey pleated skirts for girls, white shirt, sky blue socks, black shoes, school tie and belt.
WINTER
Classes Nursery, KG and I	Grey worsted trousers/skirts, white shirt, sky blue V-neck pullover, navy blue blazer with crest (optional), sky blue socks, black shoes.
Classes II to XII	Grey worsted trousers/pleated skirts, white shirt, sky blue V-neck pullover, navy blue blazer with crest, sky blue socks, black shoes, school tie and belt.
